Romance fiction often has many of the same elements as mystery,
fantasy, or science fiction but the emphasis is on the quest for
that one special someone. The classic type is usually contemporary
in setting with marriage and a home the goals for living happily
ever after.

There is also the Glitzy Romance novel, one that has the international
jet-set involved, Hollywood, and high finance. Historical, supernatural,
and suspenseful Romances all have those particular elements entwined
in their settings.The historical Romance can include Royal or Regency
themes and can include family sagas that span a whole series.
